Marketime Foods in Seattle, Washington on November 6, 2015

Marketime Foods in Fremont/Phinney Ridge is owned by Ken's Market (http://www.kensmarkets.com/about.html). It underwent a significant remodel in 2015. I didn't get any photos of the old layout, but here are a couple from some Yelp! users.

This view is right as you walk in the front door. The camera is pointed east, and slightly to the south. The deli hot bar would have been on the photographer's left.

This produce section was on the back (east) wall. There was a small beer room to the left and slightly behind where the photographer was standing. There was also a secret restroom near there, which when I was living in the house at 4407 Phinney Ave N with 5 people and one bathroom, doubled as our second half-bath.

Another view from when you entered. This looks directly east, towards the produce section pictured above. The checkout stands in the first picture would have been to the right and a little behind of where this shot was taken.

QFC in Wallingford (former Food Giant) in Seattle, Washington on October 31st, 2015

This is the site of the former Food Giant in Wallingford. QFC bought the store in 1996 (Short Seattle Times article on the purchase) and remodeled significantly. Before we get into the modern store, a few photos and stories about the old one:
